Holiday 2013 ~ Part 2 ~ Beach Day

Everyone woke up quite early Sunday morning, so we had some time to spare on the campsite before we set off for Church in Colchester, where it was lovely to see friends of old, many of whom were instrumental in setting us on the path we travel today :D We were last to leave ~ as always!!

It was set to be the hottest day of the year thus far, which was brilliant because it was also the day we had decided to do our beach trip! So after church we headed off to Walton-on-the-Naze (along with a good number of other similar minded people) and arrived there in time for a late fish & chips lunch on the sand!

The weather was BEAUTIFUL and we spent the rest of the day there digging, swimming, playing cricket, sunbathing (just a little) & generally just enjoying being together. We had to move up the beach at one point, when the tide came higher than we expected, but nobody wanted to go home just then, so we just re-camped!
