it won't let me vote! the first test one anyway. And I think if you added a space after Christian in your profile text that would sort things out there, it's because you're a 'christian, homeschooling' all joined together that it's falling over the edge, iyswim?!
Thanks Sarah - well spotted! It's amazing what someone elses eyes can see :) I'd like to add a calendar to the side bar - any one know any where to get a code for one? THe one you can see at the moment is a 'mock-up' - it doesn't work, but I'm using it as a place setter!
Tell me - can you see the pictures in two and three? Two has an abstract green graphic at the top and three has a nautical theme - which starfish and other nice graphics. I must admit in Firefox thwy don't seem to show for me, but they look great in IE7. However I have done the most work on testtemplate one (making my way) becasue it seems to work well in both browsers.
yes jax - re the calender. Word press ones don't work with blogger (tried that). I have found on (on the first test template now), but it's a bit ugly!
Jax - what do you mean about there being text on the page - there is for all three. You shouldn't need to scroll any more than usual for any of them. They all look better in IE7 btw - even the calendar looks less ugly!
Hi - jax - turns out the calendar I found looks nice, but that is all it is - a plain calendar. It doesn't link into the posts, which is what I wanted really :(

Does anyone know how to set up a little sidbar calendar in blogger. The one you can see at the moment is a 'fake' it doesn't work - but I want it to!
Last one - it actually has text on the page rather than having to scroll down to find a post ;)
do you mean a calendar that hyperlinks to posts?
