We're In!

I forgot to blog that Paul has been accepted for Minister in Training status! A-men!! We are so relieved, excited, happy. Now to wait and see what the future holds come next May... I only hate the thought of moving again, both for myself and for the children, particularly the boys. I really love it here and we have all made so many fabulous friends, but we never came with the intention of staying. :( Oh well - not to worry about that yet and I'm sure whatever happens we will be happy ... :)

Congratulations! If that is appropriate ;-)

So is May the training bit? Or is that assignment? And I thought you wouldn't hear for a fortnight?

May is when Paul's Theology degree course finishes. M.I.T starts whenever we are placed/find a church. MIT is then 2yrs more practical training and continuing study before he is 'ordained' as a Rev'! The church where we go for MIT is likely to be where we stay for a while. The only snag is that we may have to wait for a while (can be a couple of years sometimes) for a 'position' to become available, especially as Paul really needs a full-time paid post (yes, some ministers are unpaid, and many are only Part-Time). And a manse would be nice too...! Not many Elim churches have a manse with the package though :(
I hope that makes things a little clearer than mud!

Great news Caroline! Does that mean you will be staying in the same area or could be moving anywhere?
